Alteburg in Cologne

We were able to celebrate an all-round successful wedding party, even under Corona conditions. The owners and their staff were very attentive and always helpful. And the location is great anyway!

Nice beer garden and a small but fine menu. The service was on the ball and friendly, but unfortunately only gaffs are served.

Yesterday evening a beer with friends in the sheltered courtyard. Simple food from the set up as a menu. Very tasty and exactly the right offer in this location. We had a very nice evening with the friendly and attentive service. We will be back!

Nice big beer garden, good food. If you don't like it outside in the beer garden, you can go to the Alteburg restaurant or bistro. A visit is worth it. 👍😋😃

Staff is friendly, prices are good, toilets are clean. The menu is limited to around 10 dishes. Salads are very big, food was OK. Unfortunately, I deduct a star because you can only pay with cash.

Great biergarden, also serve good food,

I was rarely as surprised as in this beer garden. Unimpressive from the outside, an idyll from the inside. Our server was super friendly and had his job under control. In the 2.5 hours, which we stayed, several times the ashtray was emptied and our dog got water without asking. That's rare these days. The food had a quality that we did not expect and for which I would have paid a few euros more. The menu is small, but everything is fresh and mega delicious. Clearly 5 stars !!!!

I was there once to attend "loss mer singe " event . The event was so good that i started loving german music. If i talk about place, it is cosy and upmarket place. Food is ok, they serve alcohol and there is an ampel place to dance ( after you are drunk). They have outdoor seating available as well. I would recommend there to people who want to spend a lovely evening with fun, food and drinks .

Cause of it's Greek owner this place usually becomes a meeting place for Greek people in case of Greek concerts. Otherwise, a great place to enjoy your beer!!!
